Holding Hope Inc. is a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals and the families who love them in underserved rural communities throughout southwest Georgia and surrounding areas. Our mission is to reduce animal suffering, shelter overcrowding, and preventable euthanasia by addressing the root causes that place pets at risk.
Our primary activities include funding and coordinating low-cost spay and neuter services, heartworm treatment, emergency veterinary care, vaccinations and preventive medicine, assistance for vulnerable owned pets, foster and rescue support, and ground and air transportation to trusted rescue partners. We also provide pet food and essential supplies to families experiencing financial hardship and work closely with municipal shelters and animal control agencies to improve outcomes for homeless animals.
By combining direct animal care with community-based prevention, Holding Hope helps families keep their pets healthy and safely at home, reduces unwanted litters and shelter intake, provides lifesaving treatment to animals who might otherwise go without care, and gives rural shelters access to resources and rescue opportunities that are often unavailable in the communities we serve.
