Y’all, Molly didn’t just get a freedom ride… SHE GOT HER OWN PRIVATE FLIGHT STRAIGHT TO HER FOREVER HOME!
Some dogs take the scenic route to their happily ever after. Molly decided she was done waiting and booked herself a private aircraft.
No layovers. No baggage claim. No connecting flights. Just one very special girl headed straight to the family who has been waiting to love her.
Her own personal flight crew
And she even had her own personal flight crew!
Captain Skylar and his fiancée, Co-Pilot Mya!
These two wonderful people gave their time, aircraft, and hearts to make sure Molly made it safely from KBIJ (Early County Airport) all the way to Florida, where her forever family would be waiting!
Now, I don’t know what kind of in-flight service Molly requested, but I’m pretty sure she expected complimentary snacks, unlimited belly rubs, and a window seat.
“That’s the one. That’s my dog.”
A HUGE thank-you to Sharon Roberts, AGAIN!
Mrs. Sharon, thank you for helping find Molly her forever home! Sometimes the hardest part of rescue isn’t saving them from the shelter. It’s finding that ONE person who sees everything special about a dog and says, “That’s the one. That’s my dog.”
You helped make that happen for Molly.
And to Molly’s wonderful adopter, Debbie…
Thank you for opening your heart and home to this sweet girl. Thank you for giving her a chance, for seeing the love she has left to give, and for choosing her.
There is something especially beautiful about someone looking at a dog who has already lived a little life and deciding that her next chapter deserves to be the very best one yet.
Skylar and Mya, thank you for being Molly’s wings today. You didn’t just fly a dog from one airport to another. You helped deliver someone’s newest family member HOME.
That’s what rescue is all about.
From a shelter in rural South Georgia to a forever home in Florida, Molly’s journey took a whole team of people who cared enough to make it happen.
Promoted to spoiled house dog
And now?
MOLLY HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN PROMOTED TO SPOILED HOUSE DOG!
We expect her to settle into retirement immediately, claim the softest furniture in the house, and begin training her new humans by tomorrow morning.
(As always, huge thanks to Carolyn Stout for being the transport driver to get her to the airport today.)
