Y’all remember our sweet little Daisy that came in with Duke? The nearly hairless, terrified little girl we found two weeks ago with her buddy Duke near the Budget Inn in Blakely?
WELL, LOOK AT OUR GIRL NOW!!
Every reason in the world to be scared
Two weeks ago, Daisy came to us with painful, irritated skin, hardly any hair, and every reason in the world to be scared. Looking at her absolutely broke our hearts.
Her skin is improving, she’s getting more comfortable every day, and we’re finally getting to see the beautiful little soul that was hiding underneath all that suffering.
And can we just talk about how incredibly forgiving dogs are? Daisy has every reason not to trust people, yet here she is, loving everybody like she’s never had a bad day in her life.
Keep cheering for our sweet Daisy
Daisy is safe and receiving care at the City of Blakely Animal Shelter, with Holding Hope Inc and Friends of Blakely Animals helping cover the veterinary expenses that are making her recovery possible.
She’s still got some healing left to do, but we’re so proud of how far she’s come in just TWO WEEKS.
She’s not finished blooming yet.
Keep cheering for our sweet Daisy! She’s not finished blooming yet.
